Your Wedding at St Andrew’s Church Walkerville

St Andrew’s Anglican Church is one of the oldest churches in Adelaide. It has been a worshipping congregation for 175 years. During this time, many couples have chosen this church in which to be married. With family and friends, they have begun their new life together.

St Andrew’s church is a sacred place in which people celebrate wonderful and significant moments in their lives. We are delighted that you wish to be married here and we will do whatever we can to ensure your wedding day is a happy and memorable one.

The interior of the church has a single aisle and has been restored to maintain and enhance its heritage character. It can accommodate up to 220 people and suits the traditional feeling of a wedding. The Church is Air-Conditioned to keep you and your guests comfortable.

The latest in amplifier technology has been installed to assure quality sound for all to hear. Available is CD, iPod, and Bluetooth capabilities to match varying devices. The six historic bells in the tower are offered as an option to be played as the bride and groom walk from the Church into the courtyard after the ceremony.

The pipe organ boasts a brilliant sound; our two organists are more than happy to play on the day. The air-conditioned Parish Centre is also available for refreshments. Couples often take advantage of this venue during bridal party photographs, and as guests wait to move onto the chosen reception venue. The Parish Centre comes with excellent kitchen facilities with the ability to also open up to include the courtyard area.

We would be delighted should you wish to be married here and we will do whatever we can to ensure your wedding day is a happy and memorable one.
