St Andrew’s is a vibrant and connected community.
This page contains information about the outreach activities supported by St Andrew’s Church members.
If you would like to join an activity or volunteer, please contact the Parish Office.
Chatty Cafe
On the second Wednesday of each month, 10-11am, St Andrew’s hosts the Walkerville Community Committee for Chatty Cafe in the Parish Centre. Locals are welcome to join a table, grab a cuppa, and connect with others. The initiative aims to combat social isolation and form connections within our community.
Volunteers from St Andrew’s provide light snacks and serve refreshments.
There’s no cost, no bookings and no pressure – just drop in and say hello!
Magdalene Centre Dinners
Three times per years, volunteers from St Andrew’s provide a 3 course meal for homeless and disadvantaged people.
As a Parish, we prepare and serve a Saturday night meale prepared by members of the Parish and delivered to the Parish Centre on Saturday afternoon and then a small team of helpers take and serve the food in the Hall adjacent to the Mary Magdalene Church in Moore Street, Adelaide.
Bolton Clarke Walkerville
Rev’d Tracey Gracey conducts monthly Communion services for residents of Bolton Clarke Walkerville Residential Aged Care.
These shortened services provide an ongoing connection with the Church and include the Gospel and a hymn.
